BARTOW -- Polk County tells its residents to watch out for mosquitoes!
The county has issued a mosquito advisory. It says two unvaccinated horses have died from Eastern equine encephalitis in the Green Swamp region on the north end of the county.
Polk County is spraying to kill mosquitoes and is urging residents to drain standing water and use repellent. So far no human residents have come down with mosquito borne diseases.
